Landing a contract through the state procurement process requires thorough knowledge of Georgia’s procurement policies and procedures as all as an understanding of the inner workings of various state agencies including the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS). It can also require the ability to secure ongoing funding through the appropriations process and release of funds through the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget (OPB).
