Dan Lee, Senior Partner
Senator Dan Lee served three terms in the Georgia Senate, ultimately rising to become Governor Sonny Perdue’s Senior Administrative Floor Leader. As Governor Perdue’s floor leader, Lee was the spokesperson in the Senate and he helped pass Governor Perdue’s legislative agenda, which included ethics and education reform and stronger criminal penalties for the manufacture, transfer and possession of methamphetamines.
Most recently, Lee served as Georgia’s eighth District Chairman of the George W. Bush for President Re-election campaign in 2004. He was elected to the State Senate in 1998 to represent the 29th Senatorial District. He served as Vice Chairman of the Senate Public Safety and Judiciary Committees and served on the Natural Resources and Appropriations Committees.
Lee graduated from LaGrange College in 1981 and earned his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama in 1985. He is an active member of the Georgia Bar and other professional organizations. He is married to Susan Holliday, and they have one son, Daniel, Jr. They are members of the First United Methodist Church of LaGrange.
