Chuck
McMullen served as Chief of Staff to Georgia’s first Republican
Senate Majority Leader, U.S. Representative Tom Price, MD (GA-06).
McMullen also served as Chief of Staff to the Senate Republican
Caucus closely working with the caucus leadership including Senate
President Pro Tempore Eric Johnson and Senate Caucus Chairman, Don
Balfour.
Although
his recent work is in government, Chuck’s professional roots
are in lobbying and governmental consulting. Prior to serving the
Senate, Chuck was a lobbyist for the Medical Association of Georgia
and served as the Director of the association’s political
action committee, GAMPAC. Chuck also lobbied in Washington as a
regional Political Director for the American Medical Association,
covering twelve states.
Upon
graduation from Randolph-Macon College with a B.A. in political
science, Chuck served as a lobbyist for the Medical Society of Virginia
in Richmond before moving to Atlanta. He has also worked as a political
consultant in local races. He resides with his wife, Jennifer, and daughter, Lilly Grace, in Atlanta.
